MEM 13: The Istari

News mainly revolves around the Hobbit movie casting on this 13th episode of Middle-earth Minutes.

Robert Kazinski is out as the Dwarf, Fili; Dean O'Gorman is taking over the fat-suit, Peter Jackson reports. What is better than one Bilbo? Two Bilbos! Ian Holm returning as Bilbo in the Hobbit. Nobody other than Hugo Weaving can play the role of Elrond, and he has obliged. Radagast The Brown will be in the Hobbit, therefore we are expecting to see the White Council. Sylvester McCoy will play the animal loving, wayward Wizard. Gimli has no tattoos; his stunt double does, according to John Rhys-Davies.

In keeping with our previous discussions, this week we talk about the Istari as described in Unfinished Tales. Who are they, what are they, and what do they do?
